How to write a effective email ?


Toady's topic is very important for all tech users in their daily life. Writing an effective email is very important in this technological era. 

Here are some tips and tricks for writing an effective & impressive email.

Clear Subject Line

Your subject line should give a brief overview of the email's content. Avoid obscure subjects and give enough information to encourage the recipient to read the email.

Start with Greeting

Start your email with a polite and appropriate greeting. Address the recipient by their name ( if possible) or  "Dear Sir/Madam"/ "Dear [Name] ".

Introduction

In the opening paragraph, briefly introduce yourself and state the purpose of the email.  

Clear and Well- Structure Body

Break your email into paragraphs. Avoid long- winded explanations and focus the mail point you want to convey.

Be Polite and Positive 

Use polite language and a positive tone throughout the email. Clearly state what action you want from the recipient to take after reading the email.

Closing

Use an appropriate closing such as  "Best Regards", or "Sincerely" followed by your name.

Auto fit Column Command in Excel

       In Microsoft Excel, some commands are very useful for data formatting. With the help of these commands, our work should be interesting and more smartly effective. If you have an Excel workbook with different column sizes like the below picture.  Such kind of Excel worksheet is not impressive for your presentations.  Here is the solution for fixing the column size as per the content size.  If you want to fit the column size as the column content size, do it manually or do it smartly just single command. So let's do it smartly. Right-click on the sheet1 button and select the view code. As below picture. A popup window appears. Click on General and select the Worksheet and type the command  “Cells.EntireColumn.Autofit” between Private Sub and End Sub. As below picture. Minimize the window and your sheet is auto-fit according to column content size. As in the below picture. Now your Excel worksheet is very impressive and effective.

     Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, provides the facility to file a Consumer Complaint through online mode with the help of the web portal https://edaakhil.nic.in . Web portal developed under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 with the help National Informatics Centre (NIC), New Delhi. The main purpose of the web portal is to increase the timely and effective redressal of consumer complaints.        In this post, we learn how to file a Consumer Complaint with the help of the edaakhil web portal.
