How to file a Appeal under the section 41 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 through Edaakhil "https://edaakhil.nic.in" web portal ?

 


    


Consumers can file their Appeal against the impugned order passed by the lower Consumer Commission under section 41 of the Consumer Protection Act 2019, only through E-filing "https://edaakhil.nic.in" in their respective State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in short “SCDRC” or in National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in short “NCDRC”.

         Appeal filing process is very simple as I explained in my previous post Consumer Complaint through E-daakhil. You can click on this link for more details. In this post, I explain the process of filing of Appeal through the Edaakhil web portal.

        There are bullet points for filling the Appeal through the Edaakhil web portal, which is as below.

  • Login to the Edaakhil portal under the Consumer/Advocate Section tab, If you visiting Edaakhil web portal for the first time, then register them self as I explain in my previous post.
  •  Click on the Filing button and select  File a New Case.








  •  Accept the Disclaimer on click on Accept button.

  • If the impugned order passes by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Then you need to click on the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission case Filling button and after that click on First Appeal (FA) button, Select the State from the drop-down menu.




  • Then go to the next option Search Your Lower Previously/Commissions Case Details. Select the State and District after that Enter Your Case Number then click on Search Button. 

  •  Your case details appear and click on Start Filing Your Case.

  • Case details tab is open, fill  in all required information like Complaint Name, address, email-id, and contact number, etc. After that in your disputes, if any additional complaint is available, then click on the Additional Complaint tab and fill in the required information. 






  • After that in your disputes, if any additional Appellant/respondent is available, then click on the Additional respondent tab and fill the required information.



  • After that important part of the filing Appeal is appear, i.e. Document Upload. Click on the Document Upload tab, there are some mandatory documents listed under the Description column. These documents have to be uploaded by the complaint. (Maximum document size will be 20 MB).  Choose your file from your computer and click on upload.  




  • If you want to upload some additional documents then click on Add Document button. After clicking on Add Document button one more row add to the page.  Mentioned the document name under the description column. Choose your file from your computer and click on upload. With the help Add Document button, you can upload the rest file, which you want to upload. After successfully uploading your all documents, you must have to finalize and submit your application.



  • If you registered your complaint on the national helpline then click on yes otherwise click on no. Confirm all the following points checked and press the Finalize button.

Your appeal is successfully submitted to the respective Consumer Commission.
